Recognition for The Citizen Scientist
SAS Director Shawn Carlson sends notice that the Tempo Section of the 9 July 2008 edition of the Chicago Tribune reviewed some of its favorite publications. Four publications made the “Science/Technology” cut, and one of them was The Citizen Scientist.
The TCS review described the target audience of The Citizen Scientist as “made up of adults and youngsters who passionately love science. Articles range from regional amateur rocket competition, to designing and constructing balloon-satellite airframes, to an introduction to physics.”
The only other magazines included in the Science/Technology section were Archaeology Magazine, New Scientist and Wired
