July 2007 Eclipse Trip to China
The Citizen Scientist contributor Dennis Mammana has sent notice about a tour to see the total solar eclipse of July 2007. Dennis writes:
Great Saros 136 Total Solar Eclipse: Grand Yangtze River Cruise aboard the Victoria Prince July 13-26, 2009.
The longest total solar eclipses of the 20th Century have been produced by Saros 136. Who can forget the nearly seven spectacular minutes of totality on July 11, 1991? On July 22, 2009, the moon's shadow will cross China, and will thrill eclipse chasers along the ancient Yangtze River. I invite you to join me as we celebrate more than five minutes of totality, and the ebb and flow of 21st Century Chinese life. Space is limited.
