Amateur Scientists in the News

The Citizen Scientist
author Harlan Brothers is back in the news with a new paper in the journal Fractals.

Michael Banks also an author for The Citizen Scientist, has an article in Radio Magazine about the world's largest radio of its time, the Crosley WLW Model Super Power Radio Receiver. Mike reports that the radio had 35 tubes and that "One of only two known to exist sold last month at auction for $55,000, and it was missing two of its four amplifiers and had only one of its three speakers."

Mike also reports that his book Crosley made the New York Times bestseller list for a week.

Congratulations Harlan and Mike. Readers, please send notice of amateur scientists in the news here.
