Ice Signatures

Glenda Wolin
Assistant City Editor, San Antonio Express-News

This photograph was shot on 16 January 2007 in Blanco, Texas, on the first day of a rare three-day ice storm.

Because it had rained for several days before the freeze, a large amount of ice collected on various objects, including this piece of chicken wire that was sitting in the back of a utility vehicle.
