George Hrabovsky Captures Unusual Tornado Image

Veteran storm chaser George Hrabovsky has sent The Citizen Scientist an unusual tornado image. He writes, "Here is a multiple vortex tornado located approximately 40 km (25 miles) west of Madison, Wisconsin, at around 7:30 PM on 6 June 2006. This was one of eight tornadoes we videotaped that evening."

George is a mathematician, theorist and experimental scientist who serves as President of MAST. His unusual tornado image is a reminder that storm chasers come from many backgrounds, and they can record interesting phenomena associated with tornadoes.
