Number 100 of Ralph Coppola's "Wanderings" Column

This issue of The Citizen Scientist is special, because it includes the 100th installment of Ralph Coppola's "Wanderings" column.

Just when you think Ralph has published links to every page on the web of interest to amateur scientists, he opens the door to an entirely new and unexpected set of fascinating web sites.

Serious readers of "Wanderings" don't open Ralph's column without some advance planning. That's because most of the web sites that Ralph selects are so special that time is required to visit them and absorb their content.

For example, in "Wanderings 100" in this issue of TCS, Ralph covers piezoelectric crystals, inexpensive laser rods, solar cooking, water filtration and purification, crystal growing, shattering glass with sound and many other topics.

Whether you are a visitor to The Citizen Scientist or a regular reader, consider setting aside some time to accompany Ralph Coppola as he wanders through, around and even under the web. It's a visit you will not soon forget--and one that you will want to repeat.
