30 April 2004 SAS Announces the Science for Life Partner Program Denise Todd, Director of Fundraising Development for the Society for Amateur Scientists, is working hard to help SAS expand its reach. Here Denise explains a new program that will help with this goal.
We here at
SAS understand that sometimes contributors find it hard to donate a lump
sum. Donating smaller amounts on a monthly schedule makes it easier on
your monthly finances. The new Science for Life Partner program allows
you to make a monthly tax-deductible contribution to SAS. Each month we
simply charge your credit card, or you can mail us a check or money order.
You can contribute any set monthly amount that is comfortable for you.
You may choose one of our pre-set levels or create your own. We have found
that supporters who are part of a monthly gift program tend to be more
active and up-to-date on what goes on with SAS. It's sort of a "monthly
reminder" that you are not only a supporter, but also a member of SAS.
