SAS conference location

Hi Shawn,

It was nice meeting you at Super Science Saturday here in NJ.

Good luck with your rescheduled Conference! Unfortunately, Joe and I will be unable to make a Las Vegas venue this year, though we had been looking forward to going to Washington, DC.

I was happy to hear you mention there are number of science-related goings-on near Las Vegas, besides the statistical trials in monetary exchange that the region is noted for!

NJSAS currently has a young member. Regardless of science related
activities nearby, Las Vegas doesn't seem as appropriate a site as Washington, DC, Boston or Philadephia, sites known for history, science and knowledge.

Maybe sites that were homes to great inventors and scientists should be considered, like West Orange, NJ, where Edison had homes and factories, or Princeton, NJ, where Einstein made his home. Hopefully there will be opportunities to hold conferences in some of these areas in the future.

Take care,

Marie Christiano
