Support Citizen Science - Advance Science Literacy

The Society for Amateur Scientists has been the world's most effective advocate for citizen scientists since 1994. We teach, we empower, we network, we supply, and when necessary we defend the rights of citizen scientists to be full participants in the great adventure of scientific discovery. Today, we continue to look for new ways to support the citizen science community and to expand and improve our services to our members.

With the creation of LABRats, our revolutionary new approach to teach science to the next generation, SAS has launched a venture that many prominent educators believe is destined to change how science, engineering and mathematics get taught in the United States. You can find out more about this extraordinary program on our LABRats page.

But we can't do it all alone. We need the support of every single person who, like you, understands the importance of liberating the uncommon genius of the common citizen, as well as improving the terrible state of science literacy in America and around the world. Please, help us change the world!
