The Society for Amateur Scientists is dedicated to helping amateur scientists hook up with experts who can help make science projects happen. Many amateurs working on a project find themselves in need of a piece of equipment that they cannot find or build themselves because they lack specialized tools or skills.

If you are an SAS member and your project requires the skills of an expert woodworker, machinist, glass-blowerk, or other specialist. Please contact us. We'll tell the rest of the membership about your project and try to help you find someone who can build, or help you build that critical piece of equipment you need to make your project work.

Write to us. Describe your project. Explain in detail the apparatus you need. We'll post something about it in the E-Bulletin and invite other members to contact you.
