Plate III was taken with a Supercircuits PC-164C ultra-sensitive b&w video camera. The image on the left is that of a longitudinal, free-hand section of a Begonia pedicel. The image on the right is that of a transverse section. The images were illuminated by a Hosfelt #25-365 Blue LED. A Schott OG 550 barrier filter was employed in the cameraÕs light path.
