Wildlife on Wheels

Wildlife On Wheels (WOW) is dedicated to "Wildlife Conservation through Education" and answers the need in our community for:

  • exposure to live animals
  • hands-on science instruction
  • awareness of options in animal careers

Wildlife On Wheels brings education and adventure together to create an unforgettable learning experience for children. Wildlife instructors introduce students to the world of animals. Young people are more than an audience during a WOW experience--they help shape the experience by becoming part of the presentation. Children are invited to become intimately involved with the animals that have come to visit. Wildlife instructors ensure a safe and pleasant experience for all.

WOW maintains one of two U.S. emergency response systems specializing in the rescue of wildlife from oil spills with Int'l Bird Rescue Research Center.

WOW promotes a caring, ethical and responsible behavior toward wild and domestic animals, and motivates student learning by cultivating academic skills through the use of live animals.
