There
will be a meeting of the Central Jersey SAS on Sat., Sept 8, 2001
@ 10:30.
I can't say a lot has happened,
this summer has been a slow time. People go on vacation and find time
for outdoor activities. I myself went to Yellowstone and Grand Teton
National Parks. They are magnificent and I have lots of digital pictures.
I tend to like the active and learning type of vacations. There is
no better class room for learning these parks. I learned first hand
about the parks ecosystem and about how fire works with the it. I
won't forget the encounters with animals (all good) nor the geologic
and thermal features. Geysers, hot springs, mud volcanoes, fumaroles,
mineral deposits, bacterial colonies and four different climate ecosystems,
what more could an amateur scientist ask for. I will be showing my
digital photo slide show at the meeting.
