The New SAS Store and Forum Reopen

The long-awaited reopening of the SAS store is underway. The new store features a much more sophisticated and user-friendly interface, and allows us to offer a wider array of products to SAS members.

Our Grand-Reopening is going to take place in stages, but definitely take a look at the new store right away. Better yet, visit the store and support SAS by spending a lot of money on cool stuff!

The Forum on the SAS website has been completely revamped. This is the result of a drastic reorganization to make browsing easier. Visit the SAS website and check it out! Please write to us and let us know what you think! SG

Appologies to Jeff Kodosky

A few weeks ago I said that National Instruments had agreed to put up $130,000 to help fund the first season of The Amateur Scientist's Workshop TV Series. Well... Actually, although Jeff founded National Instruments, the money will come from his private philanthropic organization, The Kodosky Foundation.

Sorry about the error! SC

Appologies to Anyone Trying to Email Me

I've been incommunicado for the last few weeks because I've been kiling myself on my book proposal. (You may remember my call for suggestions for Citizen Scientists-- True stories of ordinary people who've made remarkable contributions to science and technology.) Well, it's finally going out to my literary agent next week. Hopefully, I'll be able to come up for air and catch up on my correspondence.

I'll let you know if a publisher picks it up. SC
