Associations:

  • Canadian Gemmological Association
    Canada-wide professional organization that provides training in gemmology to persons dealing with gemstones and to hobbyists for better appreciation and possible new career opportunities within gemmology.

  • Canadian Micro Mineral Association
    Canada-wide association for those with an interest in micromineralogy and micromounting as a hobby.

  • Canadian Mineral Society
    National internet-based association for professional and avocational collectors of Canadian and worldwide mineral specimens.

  • Geological Association of Canada
    Canada's association for professional geologists. The primary focus of this organization is the geological sciences. Not recommended for collectors.

  • Mineralogical Association of Canada
    Professional association for scientists who study mineralogy. This is organization is not recommended for collectors.
