The Amateur Scientist¹s Workshop to Receive $130,000 from National Instruments

After reviewing the seven-minute demo tape we shot last April, National Instruments founder Jeff Kodosky has agreed to provide an extremely generous grant of $130,000 towards the production of The Amateur Scientist’s Workshop TV series. They were already over committed on their corporate giving this year, but we’ll be in their schedule for next year’s philanthropy.

This is a huge step forwards! Although it’s a little less than ten percent of the money we need to actually do the series, this is a great wedge that we’ll be able to use to help secure the rest of the funding.
